An Artist's Tale #7 - You are Challenged by a Rock!

Healed. Now, Nacrene City. If I remember rightly, there should be an art supplier in one of these warehouses.

Oh, this must be the place, then.

Great! I’d like to see your paint range.

An Artist's Tail #6 - Stealing is Wrong

Things I’ve learned in the past twelve hours: Restaurants are never has clean as you’d like, it’s really easy to get roped into a drug business and beating up six-year-olds is an easy source of income.

Today has got to be better than yesterday.

Things are already looking up. This road looks like it’s completely clear of tall grass. I guess that’s bound to happen on a road linking two cities.

It’s Cheren! Dude, you wouldn’t believe what happened in that town last night. First, you know that Fennel lady Professor Pokémon told us to find? Wait, she didn’t tell you to get invol-

What? What’s so urgent?

I guess we can do this. That badge wasn’t all that hard to get, you know?

An Artist's Tail #5 - Dreams Are Shattered

I’ve toughened up. Me and Raph are now ready to kick this Gym Leader’s butt.

“3 C’s Restaurant: You Just Got Served!”

I’ve gotta warn you, I have hated tour guides ever since Pokémon Professor guided me around a Pokémon Center.

I thought water was free with every meal. At least it's... fresh...

An Artist's Tail #4 - Exclamation Marking Your Territory

After a late night political rally, I managed to get in a solid eight hour sleep. Cheren and Bianca are nowhere to be seen. This town has already shown off all it’s going to so the only thing left to do is leave it.

Surprisingly comfortable couch in that Pokémon Center.

No official looking guys here this time.

Howdy!

Okay… A gate for travellers?

Something about a Trainer’s School. I don’t need anything like that; Raph and I know what we’re doing.

This new ringtone is kickass.

An Artist's Tail #3 - Giant Rock Bird

Good news: I’ve got a job. Bad news: I’ve been abandoned on a road at night by my friends and new employer. Also, I’m competing with my friends to see who can catch the most Pokémon. All I’ve got is an uncoordinated dog and a handful of Pokéballs.

Let’s get this started.

That wasn’t too bad… No rabid monsters yet. Hey buddy, can you help me?

It means I need to get off this road before I die. Oh, a sign! How far is it to the next town?

So I was just unlucky with that guy?

Hey in there! The sign says you might help me.

For now. He won’t stand up for long if we get into a fight.

Holy crap, the sign was right. Do you also happen to know how to teach a dog karate?

An Artist's Tail #2 - A Single Step

So my best friends just got Pokémon and the first thing they did was trash my room. I’m out thousands in damaged goods. Raphael’s been sent to bed to let his arm heal. Mom doesn’t seem to care that much that I’ve lost all my painting supplies. She left a few minutes ago and came back with a gift for me, as if trying to make up for all of this.

It’s a wrist-watch crossed with a cell phone. It’s neat, I guess. Mom had it engraved for me. That means I can’t sell it. Damn.
Bianca and Cheren already have one so the next step, I suppose, is to go get their numbers.

It’s kinda getting late. I’ll go by Bianca’s place first.

Let's Play Pokémon White: An Artist's Tail #1 - Blank Canvas

Is that a castle? Is that my castle?

My throne.

My crown.

That’s not me. Damn it, I’m having someone else’s dreams again.
